Faster, more dynamic, and just as tough, the new RTC-1020 introduces more sophisticated functionality to AAEON’s rugged tablet product line. With generational upgrades in battery capacity, screen brightness, wireless technology, camera quality, and processing power, the RTC-1020 is built for continuous use in any environment; from the construction site to the aircraft hangar. With the RTC-1020, users can expect exceptional utility paired with world-class features in the same durable, rugged form to reliably and efficiently manage projects across industries.

◆ 1.5 x Greater Battery Capacity: With the option of two 51.1W lithium-ion batteries, the RTC-1020 contains 1.5 times the capacity of its predecessor. Further, its hot-swappable feature allows for battery replacement without the need to power down.

◆ 6 Configurable Physical Keys: For ergonomic use in working environments such as construction sites, the RTC-1020 is equipped with six physical keys. To suit specific project needs, such as inventory checking, three of these keys are user-configurable.

◆ Sunlight-Readable 800 Nit Screen: For a rugged tablet to be truly adaptable to any outdoor environment, screen brightness is paramount. Therefore, the RTC-1020 is equipped with a clear, 800 nit TFT LCD screen to prevent glare and ensuring sunlight readability.

◆ UHD Image Collection: The RTC-1020’s 5MP front camera is a substantial upgrade on the RTC-1010’s 2MP standard, while still accompanied by an 8MP rear camera. This increase in quality allows for UHD image collection for applications such as field inspection.

◆ LTE Module Pre-Installation: As the RTC-1020 is RED certified, it can be purchased with an LTE module pre-installed, reducing lead time and delivering a wireless-ready solution for immediate connectivity in the field.

◆ Upgraded Wi-Fi Bandwidth: By adding Wi-Fi 2 and 5 to the device’s Wi-Fi 802.11 wireless standards, the RTC-1020 substantially expands the Wi-Fi speed and bandwidth available to users to Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, compared to previous tablets which were limited to Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.

◆ 11th Gen Intel® Core™ Processors: Powered by 11th Gen Intel® Core™ Processors, the RTC-1020 offers high-performance computing, with 4 cores and 8 threads via Intel® Hyper-Threading Technology, making it ideal for complex applications such as mechanical maintenance devices.

◆ High-Speed System Memory: Doubling the system memory capacity of the RTC-1010, 8GB of onboard LPDDR4X system memory facilitates expedited data transmission rates for peripheral devices connected to the RTC-1020 via its LAN, USB 3.2, and display interfaces.
