Equipped with a range of high-performance CPUs from the newest Intel Atom® processor families, the FWS-2292 offers a unique combination of interfaces ideal for setups requiring a small footprint and high-density networking.

Higher Frequency Processing

Featuring the Intel Atom® Twin Lake Processor Series for Network and Security Appliances, the FWS‑2292 delivers enhanced single‑thread and multi‑thread performance, providing improved efficiency and throughput for Edge, SD‑WAN, uCPE, and UTM deployments.

Hybrid Fiber & Copper Setup

Equipped with a powerful combination of six 2.5GbE copper RJ-45 ports and two pairs of LAN bypass, the FWS-2292 is ideal for hybrid environments requiring both long-distance fiber uplinks and local high-speed LAN capabilities.

Cost-Effective, High-Density Networking

Designed for applications requiring more local wired endpoints, such as edge firewall, UTM, or SD-Branch, all in an easily-deployed system measuring in at just 220mm x 105mm x 44mm.

Wireless Expansion Support

The FWS-2292 offers M.2 3052 B-Key and M.2 2230 E-Keys alongside multi-panel antenna openings, granting avenues through which to integrate 5G, 4G/LTE, and Wi-Fi functionality with the reliability and performance crucial for SD-WAN deployments.

Compact, Robust Mechanical Design

Measuring just 220mm x 105mm x 44mm, the FWS-2292 is ideally suited to space-constrained environments. Moreover, the system sports rear-panel dual lockable power input connectors with power adapter options tailored to manage demanding CPU workloads, alongside redundant power support for 24/7 operation.

Dynamic, Modular Storage

With up to 128GB of lightweight onboard eMMC, a 2.5" HDD Bay, and an M.2 2242 M-Key, the FWS-2292 is configurable according to the workload required, from simple firewall configuration all the way to intrusion logging and virtualized firewall or containerized services.
