AAEON's new PICO-AM62 and SRG-AM62 offer cost-efficient RISC-based computing in both PICO-ITX and edge gateway system form, respectively. Both the PICO-AM62 and SRG-AM62 are equipped with Texas Instruments™ AM62x Sitara™ Processors, which, paired with a diverse selection of configurable interfaces, make them the perfect base with which to build IoT solutions, from automated building access control to vehicle telematics applications.

Scalable, Cost-Efficient Processor Architecture

With a foundation of Texas Instruments™ AM62x Sitara™ Processors, the PICO-AM62 and SRG-AM62 offer a unique combination of scalable Arm® Cortex®-A53 performance, cost-efficiency, and 20-year longevity. By harnessing the platform's processing capabilities and integrated GPU support, the PICO-AM62 and SRG-AM62 facilitate graphics rendering, sensor data management, and compute task execution needed to build reliable IoT solutions, such as digital cluster devices.

Flexible, Multipurpose Interfaces

Broad peripheral device and communication protocols are supported courtesy of the PICO-AM62 and SRG-AM62's diverse interface selection. At both the board and system levels, the platform provides dual LAN ports with TSN for wired networking, camera, and sensor support. Wireless communication, such as Wi-Fi and 4G/LTE, is also available via full and half-size mini cards. Both products also feature a multipurpose I/O connector offering industrial control functions such as RS-232/422/485, CANBus, UART, GPIO, and I2C.

Whether integrating the PICO-AM62 as a discreet addition to an automotive solution or the SRG-AM62 as a building access monitor, AAEON's new RISC-based product range is designed for longevity. A broad 9V ~ 36V power input range, compact form factors, and a temperature tolerance range of up to -40°C ~ 85°C mean both the PICO-AM62 and SRG-AM62 are able to withstand the pressures of modern industrial computing.
